Applying Colossians 1:1-8

by Kathy

How are you doing with applying this week’s Scripture?  I am being reminded over and over to live out Grace to others…strangers in a store, my family, and in those moments of inconveinent interrruptions!  I have been challenged to look for fresh opportunities each day to love and extend underserved kindness to others.  I am expressing thanks to God for his Grace to me that is never ending…forgiveness when I have done wrong, and for all countless ways that I receive His kindness instead of a reprimand.  Because of His abounding Grace to me, I am being watchful for opportunities to extend the same grace to others and be a tangible Christ represenative in their circumstances.

I would love to hear what God is challenging you to apply this week.  Hit the comment button below, and share a few words.  I know you will bless and encourage someone else as well.

Kathy! I feel the Holy Spirit is teaching me to Be Still as my husband shares struggles with me. This quiet spirit is just the kind of grace quite often a husband desires. I’ve replaced..glory to glory we become more like wifely unrequested advice with encouragement!

Julie, what a beautiful gift to give your husband – a quiet, listening heart…what a wonderful gift God has given you…the opportunity to hear your husband’s struggles and be able to pray specifically for his needs! Keep allowing God to transform your heart! Thanks so much for sharing this. I pray that it encourages others as they read these comments!
