Correction to “Kathy’s Ice-Cream Dessert” Recipe

If you were interested in making “Kathy’s Ice-Cream Dessert” and printed a copy of the recipe, please reprint it.   My sister-in-law (Thanks Glenna!) started to make this recipe and noted that I mentioned brown sugar in the directions, but not in the ingredients.   I have corrected the recipe on the blog.   Please note!!! The recipe calls for 1/2 cup of brown sugar to be added to the flour, oatmeal, butter and pecans to make the crust.  I have updated the recipe on the blog, adding the brown sugar to the ingredients.  Sorry for any confusion!!

    I guessed and added 3/4 cup brown sugar. Also omitted the nuts and made my own chocolate sauce as we have nut allergies in the family. It was a hit!! I look forward to the Tues blog and foodie Friday. Thanks for sharing.

      Thank you Marilyn for your comments. I am so glad you could adjust this recipe to your family needs and they found it to be a hit. I may have to try a homemade chocolate sauce the next time I make it. That sounds delicious!!
