In the Waiting Room – Week 4 – Video

by Kathy

Hi there!  Welcome to week 4.  This coming week we will be studying Psalm 17.   I like to call this week’s study…what to do when you don’t like waiting!  I discovered in this Psalm, six nuggets of truths that I must remember when the waiting is hard.  These nuggests bring hope, challenge, power, calmness…things that make my heart become still.  Not only do these nuggets bring me these blessings, but they put my focus on the what is right and good during my wait.  I’m looking forward to digging into these nuggets with you this week, and encouraging you in how to redeem your time while you wait.

Have a grace full week!

These weekly studies are beginning to show me that we have a God who does care about us and what we are going through in waiting on Him. It is an incredible reminder to slow down, put Him first, and let Him work. It just makes me say WOW to be reminded the power of His words and His reassurance that things will be okay. Awe inspiring for sure!

Thank you Angie for your words! We can get so cuaght up in life and our wait that we forget to do things that redeem the time. I look forward to hearing from you later this week as more of this passage unfolds to you. Thanks for sharing!

It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to hear you speak, and I’m so excited about this study. You cannot imagine how timely this message is for me. I have been praying about a specific request and thinking that I was “laying out a fleece” so to speak. Asking for a definitive yes or no. When what I prayed about didn’t come to pass, I didn’t feel as though God was saying “no” he was saying “not now.” Patience is a huge stumbling block for me, so your study could not be more perfect for where I’m at in this moment.

Not to worry! Grace abounds! This is the beauty of doing a study like this. When you have one of those weeks, this is waiting when you are able to take it in. Much love to you. Have a great weekend as well. We’re raking leaves and planning a fun trip to the cider mill.
