In the Waiting Room – Week 6 – Tuesday Study Notes

by Kathy

This week we are studying Psalm 22.  As I mentioned in the video on Monday, I noticed in this passage that David expressed his heart very openly to God.  However, instead of keeping his attention on his discouragment and weariness, David intentionaly transitioned his thinking to praising God.  What a beautiful example for us all to follow.

Our thoughts are powerful and need careful navigation.  I hope this today’s study will challenge and encourage you to think about your thought patterns and how you can praise God all throughout your day.  Once we develop an attitude of gratitude, we can more easily go through our day with a keen perspective of God’s presence.  Here we know peace and contentment.
