In the Waiting Room – Week 9 – Thursday Notes

by Kathy

On Tuesday, we talked about how David’s sin made him feel, and then how his heart rejoiced when God forgave him.  We are going to be considering today what David meant by God desiring for us to come to Him with a broken and contrite heart when we approach Him asking for forgiveness.  We will also talk about some of the reasons we find it so difficult to seek forgiveness.

Prior to studying today’s lesson, I would like to encourage you to spend time in prayer, asking God to speak to your heart and show you any unconfessed sin in your own life.  I am praying that today’s lesson will be one that opens your eyes in a new and fresh way to how sin hurts our fellowship with God, and what true confession looks like.

Have a Grace Full weekend!

Blog – Psalm 32 – Thursday Study Notes

As you listen to this song, listen carefully to the words as you pray and ask God to examine your heart.   As you come to Him with a broken and contrite heart, allow God’s mercy to wash over you, creating in you a pure heart and renewing a steadfast spirit within you!  Such joy!
