Living It Out Colossians Lesson 11

by Kathy

girl with sun lightLast week we talked about stinky clothes that God wants us to take off.  This week we will begin talking about the garments that He wants us to put on.  We are going to camp out on Colossians 3:12-17 for several weeks.  I don’t want to hurry past this passage as there is so much to talk about.  In fact, I am going to take a garment or two each week and ask you to spend the whole week prayerfully considering what God would have you to learn about it.  Take a moment to listen to today’s video and then print off your notes for the week.  I am so excited to bring these lessons to you.  This week, we’ll be talking about compassion.

Living It out Colossians Lesson 11 Study Notes

Before you listen to this week’s video, I want to let you know that I am attaching a picture with the passage of Colossians 3:12-17 written on it.  Consider putting this where you will often see it in the coming weeks.  Use it as a reminder to put these garments on.  You will find the picture just below the video.

Have a Grace Full Week!

I know this will truly bless you. Last week there was a man standing at the side of the road in a full suit in his late 60’s. his head was bowed . The sign read I am a retired Navy employee I need help. as I drove by knowing very well I have no money in my wallet I grabbed every coin in my van and in my purse that I could collect to give this man. as I approached him he said you just slow down and came all the way back for me? do you have military in your family? I said no but that I am a believer of Jesus Christ and He has blessed me with so much and I need to give to others. he said that my parents did a good job. he then professed to me that he was a believer and has been taking care of his father with dementia for 16 years and his benefits to get his medications come in so slow. As i drove away, i prayed that heaven’s blessings would pour out towards him. His name is Bob and his father’s name is Ronald. God stopped my day and boy were we all blessed from His calling!
