Living It Out – Colossians – Lesson 1

by Kathy

girl with sun lightIn the weeks to come, we are going to be looking at Colossians verse by verse with this purpose in mind – how do I live these verses out in my own life.  For the week ahead, we’ll be studying Colossians 1:1-8.  If you are able to open your Bible before listening to the video lesson today, read these verses first.  If you are not able to do that, be sure to read the verses as soon as you can.  You may also want to print the study notes before listening to the video.  I have included space for you to write your own notes as you listen to the video.

Click below for the study application notes.  Put them somewhere that you can look at them often throughout this week.  Post a comment on what God is teaching you this week.  I would love to hear from you.  Please let me know if you are having any difficulty seeing the study notes.  By clicking on the word “comment” at the bottom of this posting, you will be allowed to write a note or comment to me.  Just say you are having difficulty seeing the notes.  I will respond as soon as I can.

Plz keep my daughter and I in payer today as we put our precious 16 year old cat to sleep around 2:30PM. Sparkle has cancer. Plz pray for those who don’t understand our pain. Praise God for those who understand the unconditional love a pet can provide. Sparkle was part of a litter our young kitten had. My beloved husband had just had a stroke that left him paralyzed for life. God provided a comfort to the family through Sparkle and his mother, Nicole: our 8 year old daughter attended a Christian school and learned the responsible of caring for animals. Her friends loved Sparkle too. They would dress the kittens up in doll clothes and push them in the doll buggy. When my husband died 9 years later Sparkle was there. When my daughter went off to college out of state and was gone for six years Sparkle became my buddy. We Praise God for a special animal. We willl miss him. We know God has a special place for Sparkle

      Kim,
I will be praying for you today! Several years ago, our cat dies after being in our home for 16 years. I understand how hard this can be for you. Thinking of you as I go through my day!

Hi Kim! I prayed several times throughout the day for you. I specifically looked at the clock at 2:41 and thought again of you. How did things go for you today? Just wanted you to know that I was thinking of you.
