Truth Tuesday – Our Good, Good Father

by Kathy

Isa 46 9Father’s Day was a wonderful time of celebrating in our home. Our church had an outdoor morning service and then we came home to honor my husband and son, a soon to be dad!  This grandma-to-be is so excited!!

One of the songs we sang yesterday during the service was Good, Good Father.  As I sang this song, my heart began to reflect on some of God’s attributes and I entered into a sweet time of worshipping God and thanking Him for all He is as I sang.  I was so blessed by it, I thought I would share with you this week a list of  some of God’s attributes. Perhaps you would like to take several each day this week and consider how God has poured out His grace on you with the attribute and thank Him.

As I write these out, I recognize how often I need to just stop and speak the truth of these attributes to my heart, reminding me to exhale…to rest…to invite His presence and guidance into my current situation…to remember Who He Is…to remember Who I belong to…to know abundant joy!  Perhaps this is just what you need too today!
