Truth Tuesday – Praying for Your Kids

by Kathy

Psalm 55 17September is here! In the last few days, I have noticed a change in the trees in my yard and the flowers in my garden.  Signs of Fall have started to appear.  I will soon be pulling out my favorite cozy sweaters and watching creation turn into a brilliant display of colors!

In many homes today, homeschool classes have begun, or kids are being hustled out the door to go to their classrooms.  This time of year tends to cause us to evaluate our daily calendar, seeking how to organize and schedule those many tasks we have to oversee. As you consider your daily routines, I would love to encourage you to include a time of daily praying for your kids (and grandchildren!)

Earlier this summer, I came across a free printable prayer guide by Julie Gillies that leads you in praying for your children. I loved it and wanted to share it with you today.  Consider putting this with your Bible, or in a place that you will see it often and pray for your kids and grandchildren throughout the day.

To get a copy of the prayer guide, head to the website below.  It should bring you to Julie Gillies blog posting for July 30, 2014 where she writes about praying for your kids.  Here she offers the free pdf resource on praying for your kids that you can personally download.  I hope you find this to be helpful.

Have a Grace Full Week!  I think I hear a Pumpkin Latte calling my name!
