In the Waiting Room – Week 2 – Tuesday Study Notes

by Kathy

We are reading together this week Psalm 13.  Take a moment to listen to Monday’s video before you work on your study notes for today.  In chapter 13, we see David asking God “how long?” four times.  Are you living those days of how long right now? If you are,  I know that this week’s lessons is going to help you to see what you can be doing in the wait.  If you are not in a waiting room right now, hang on…you will be!  Take some time today to read Psalm 13 from different translations.  As you do, I want you to look at the three responses that David used in this passage and consider which one represents an attitude that you have experienced.  My study notes will guide you through this.  I will send more notes on Thursday!  Have a blessed day!

I am running behind in study , but I am in a waiting time. Because of my failing health at my young age of 36. I have to decide if I am going to have operations that will prohibit my opportunity to have more children. I do want to have more children but in my health state is that fair and wise????? I am wanting a direct word from god that I am left without a shadow of doubt but sometimes god will sit silent and allow me to make some choices????

Not to worry about running behind on the study. The beauty in this form of Bible study is that you can take it at your pace! I love the grace of this! I am praying for you as you make this decision….for discernment from the Lord in the days ahead. I pray that these studies will bring you hope and encouragment as you wait on Him to direct you.

This psalm brought me to a place where i realized i have grown lazy and complacent with God. He too delighted me like your heart seashells but my stories are far behind me. I have poured out my heart to Him..i miss Him dearly and wait expectantly to see Him in my day.

I love you for the impact you have had on me. We share the same love for God who delights us!
