Word for 2015

by Kathy

John 10 10

Thank you for your patience in allowing me to be quiet these first few weeks of January here on the blog.  This is the time of year that I enjoy reading the previous years entries in my journal, spending time praising God for all that He has done – the hard and the good!  It is also a time for quiet reflection and listening to His voice for the Word He leads me to for the new year.

These words always change me – interruption, perseverance and still.  They are arrows that point me toward a Holy God who wants to beautify me for His purposes.  The journey is continually  filled with ups and downs, bumps and gliding along paths that occasionally seem unfamiliar and unlikable.  There are also times where the scenery is glorious and fun.  The always changing trip does include one constant – my Companion – who makes it all worth it!  Thank you God for your constant friendship and love!

As I began to think about this year’s word, I realized that God was bringing it to my attention in the last few months of 2014.  In my times of being sill (2014 word), I kept feeling as though He wanted me to trust Him and see Him provide in immeasurable ways that were exceedingly beyond what I thought possible.  As I entered into 2015, I continued to feel His urging to look to and trust Him for His beyond ways.

So as I journey through 2015, I will be looking to see Him in ways that are bountiful and beyond my comprehension.  I want to experience….more in my prayer life…more of His love and grace…more of His character…more of His extravagant miracle working potential…an overflowing – exceedingly – abundantly kind of more!

My word for 2015 is Abundant ~

Look for a update from me this coming Thursday where I will share with you a  book study that I will be blogging about starting next Tuesday, January 27.

How wonderful God is. I did not have a word but this year these are some of my most high goals. I love hoe The Lord brings conformation to us through other believers. I look forward to see how The Lord will use you to further His kingdom.

Good morning Kathy! So happy to see you in my emails this morning! I stray and come back to experience that Abundant life. Awhile back, God sent me many broken hearted situations and people to pray for. I was joyous to see His glory displayed in some answered prayers while His wisdom and prophecy were revealed in others. To taste Him in a new “realm” shook my inner core! I thirst to see taste experience MORE of Him….

    • Kathy says:

Good morning to you sweet Julie! So good to hear from you. Don’t you just love that we can’t exhaust God’s abundant life! And He is always waiting for us to come and see more of it! Wishing you a 2015 of tasting and seeing that He is able to do exceeding abundantly more than you can even imagine! Ephesians 3:20

I LOVE this! I was challenged at the beginning of the year with…”Be faithful in the little things.” And the promise…”And all these things will be added unto you.” I can’t wait to see what God is going to do this year.

    • Kathy says:
