Another excellent article! I sent this to the people in the military prayer group at my church after my lovely bride brought it to my attention.
One mother was struggling the night we met and commented that every time she walks past her son’s room or sat at the dinner table, she felt the emptiness and longing for her son.
While I was praying that night, I thought of your article and was prompted to send it to the group. I surmise it was the Lord who “slapped me upside the head” as a reminder to do this.
Pray for those families who have loved one serving in the military. Many are frustrated because they feel the majority of those around them don’t understand the threat we face, or the sacrifices made by those families who have loved ones in the military.
Thanks again for your insight, I also believe this will be a great resource for those ladies looking for godly comfort and advice who have kids in the military and will direct them to your website.
Thank you Steve! I pray that God will use this blog posting to encourage many hearts that feel discouraged, fearful or anxious and point them to the only ONE who can bring perfect peace into their hearts.
